Where is the school located?

The school is in De Beer Street, next to the Zwartberg High School sport fields. Our buildings are blue.

Youth that dropped out of the traditional schooling system, but still want to advance themselves.

A parent or guardian should contact the teacher with more information on the child, and to check if there is availability at the school. For the girls’ school, contact Mariette. For the boys’ school, contact Rodine.

As an NPO, the school is run by the generosity of sponsors and funding. Therefore, there is no annual school fee.

We primarily focus on children between the ages of 14 and 20.

PASS follows the dates set out by the Department of Basic Education, which is also available on our home page.

Besides psychological and emotional development, students learn woodwork, welding, sewing, cooking, garden work, and academic skills.

Unfortunately, no. As a skills school, we focus on teaching students practical and emotional skills to prepare them for the workplace one day. We do not follow the Basic Education System of an academic high school.

We always welcome any volunteers or donations. Please send us an email or contact one of our directors to discuss options.

Any financial contributions can be made into the school account. Our banking details are on the website, or you can send us an email. As a skills school, we are in desperate need of equipment. Therefore, we welcome any donations of machinery and equipment for our woodwork, metalwork, or gardening classes. Have a look at our wish list for more information.
